You can find some free reads on my blog, although they're not edited as they would be for publication (that's the part that slows me down).

@Deborah- My husband works 50-55 hours a week as well! It's exhausting and then his days are off are filled with things around the house and usually watching the kids so I can write. I hope you get a break soon and can reward yourself with a good read.

@schilds- Thanks!

@LuAnn- The Gentleman's Impertinent Daughter is a novella so it is brief in some areas, but I did try to make the most of Darcy and Elizabeth's interactions from the get go and I came up with some back story for the Bennets and even Darcy and Georgiana's relationship. I admit, it is a little brief on Wickham, and nothing extra from the original on Caroline Bingley or Lady Catherine. I do have other stories that flesh that out a lot more, but I thought they were unnecessary in this one. All we know in the original is that Lady Catherine wants Darcy to marry Anne and that Caroline clearly wants to marry Darcy. I don't delve in to greater insights on their characters because I didn't want them to steal the show in such a short work. I hope that's not a disappointment to most. If it is, then I think you'll enjoy the next story I publish, No Cause to Repine, which is full length and has more room to explore what really makes several characters tick.

@Cyn and NovElla- Thanks! I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks again for hosting me Maria and to all that read and commented!
