BLOG TOUR & GIVEAWAY - FATE & GHOST STORIES, KARALYNNE MACKRORY PRESENTS HER HAUNTING MR DARCY

Hello Janeites!

I read a survey recently that said over 72 % of Americans believe a supernatural power directs the events of their lives: that good or bad, it is all part of that supernatural power’s plan.  The Greeks had their own set of Gods that they believed did just that too.  They were called the three Fates: Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos. They chose when someone was born, what major events happened in their life, and when and in what manner they were to die.
I read another survey said that 48% of Americans believe in ghosts with an overwhelming majority (78%) believing that there is life after death.
So with nearly equal amounts of people believing the events of their lives are designed by a supreme being also believing that they will live after of their bodies die – I got an idea.  It was absolutely absurd and so unbelievable.  At best, it was a stretch of the imagination.  It was … it was absolutely perfect for literatures best couple.  For what two persons were more fated for each other, more designed by destiny to be together than Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy?

When I thought about Lizzy and Darcy in Pride and Prejudice, I always thought that they were meant to be together.  That theirs, being arguably one of the greatest love stories of all time, was fated from the beginning.  Even when I first read the book I knew early on that this Mr. Darcy character, as grumpy-hot as he was, was planned for our heroine.  Lizzy says herself that Darcy was “exactly the man who, in disposition and talents, would most suit her. His understanding and temper, though unlike her own, would have answered all her wishes.”
So they were fated to be together.  What did that mean?  Fate’s first definition is that of a noun (syn: providence, destiny, serendipity) but fate can also be defined as a verb - an action word.  When defined as a verb, fate is listed as “being destined to happen, turn out, or act in a particular way.” Haunting Mr. Darcy: A Spirited Courtship is more than a ghost story, if you can call it that.  It is about a love that is so strong that even before it can be formed, it has bonded two individuals because they were destined to happen, turn out, or act in a particular way - they were destined to fall in love.  Darcy and Elizabeth, due to some misfortune are bound to each other until their happily ever can be righted.  Elizabeth is a ghost haunting Mr. Darcy.  (And hey, 78% of you believe that it’s possible.)  They get a chance, through their spirited courtship, to learn to love properly. Once their destiny of love has been achieved, THEN are they able to know how to get Lizzy back to her more temporal state.
So whether or not you believe in a supernatural power, fate or destiny.  Whether or not you believe in ghosts or like ghost stories… you can at least believe in happily-ever-afters.  And believe me, Darcy and Lizzy will get theirs in this book.

Hauntingly Yours,
KaraLynne Mackrory

Haunting Mr. Darcy

What happens to the happily ever after when the ever after has already happened?

A spirited courtship indeed! Jane Austen’s much adored Pride and Prejudice is transfigured in this regency adaptation.  That fickle friend Fate intervenes when an unexpected event threatens the happily ever after of literature’s favorite love story.  The gentlemen from Netherfield have left, winter is upon the land and after a horrifying carriage accident, Elizabeth Bennet finds her spirit transported as if by magic into Mr. Darcy’s London home.  Paranormally tethered to the disagreeable man, it doesn’t help that he believes she is a phantasm of his love struck mind, not the real Elizabeth.  Somehow they must learn to trust, learn to love and learn to bring Elizabeth back to her earthly form before it is too late.

About the Author

KaraLynne is an amazing mother who never makes mistakes, never gets upset with her children and never ever has a dirty house. Ever. She always has her dishes done and the floors spotless and dinner is always prepared and ready on time. Her kids are always clean, polite, respectful and loving, especially to each other. She never gets irritated with her husband when he doesn’t turn his socks right side out for the laundry and they always agree on everything. She delights in nothing else but to serve her family and never wants or needs time for herself. She takes great care to shower every day and put make up on so that she is always beautiful and presentable. She never wears her pajamas all day or for days in a row and she is the epitome of womanhood. Most of all, she has a great sense of humor and loves to write.
Falling for Mr. Darcy (2012) is KaraLynne’s first venture in to the world of book authorship.  Bluebells in the Mourning (2013)  came next and coming in the spring of 2014 is, Haunting Mr. Darcy: A Spirited Courtship.  Although, admittedly a Darcy addict, she enjoys many things, such as: Mr. Knightly, Edmund Bertram, Captain Wentworth, Mr. Tilney and John Thornton.  She is happily married to her own Mr. Darcy and together they share the insanity inducing responsibility of raising four children.

Love to be entered to win the paperback - read an excerpt where Elizabeth 'read' the books in the library just by touching them which I thought was a wonderful idea

I really like the sound of this and if I don't win then it'll go on my Wish List for the future. I'm in the UK so an ebook might be easiest but if the paperback is open internationally I'd like to be entered for that as well, please.

I'm looking forward to reading this book. I was so happy to see another supernatural P & P story come out! Congrats on another new release KaraLynne and thanks for the giveaway chance. I'd prefer an ebook over paperback, but either are fine if I'm lucky enough to win.

Sounds very interesting and intriguing. And I suppose due to such extraordinary circumstances Darcy and Lizzy will have lots of time together, with just the two of them. And I love P&P variations where they get more time for just themselves:)
Thank you very much for the giveaway! Would love to win, if fortune goddesses find me worth and bestow their favours upon me:) Any book format would be nice.

I love re-tellings and variations of P&P, your paranormal spin sounds fun! I'd prefer a paperback because I don't have an ebook reader, but I could probably put an ebook on my tablet, so I'd take an ebook, too.

I'm interested in the paperback. I can't do e-books (no computer or e-reader). I haven't read any of her books but they sound good.

I definitely believe in supernatural things (though I haven't really experienced it myself) and that some people are fated to be together. :)

Thanks for the giveaway! My preference would be paperback, to go along with the 2 KaraLynne paperbacks I already have.

Testimony On How I Got My Lost Lover Back!!!

An amazing testimony on a spell caster who brought my wife back to me,my name is Robert Buyback,i live in Maryland/USA,and I'm happily married to a lovely and caring wife, with two kids.A very big problem occurred in my family seven months ago, between me and my wife.so terrible that she took the case to court for a divorce.she said that she never wanted to stay with me again, and that she didn't love me anymore. So she packed out of my house and made me and my children passed through severe pain. I tried all my possible means to get her back, after much begging, but all to no avail.and she confirmed it that she has made her decision, and she never wanted to see me again. So on one evening,as i was coming back from work,i met an old friend of mine who asked of my wife.So i explained every thing to her,so she told me that the only way i can get my wife back,is to visit a spell caster, because it has really worked for her too.So i never believed in spell, but i had no other choice, than to follow her advice. Then she gave me the email address of the spell caster whom she visited.{bravespellcaster@gmail.com}So the next morning,i sent a mail to the address she gave to me,and the spell caster assured me that i will get my wife back the next day. What an amazing statement!! I never believed,so he spoke with me,and told me everything that i need to do. Then the next morning, So surprisingly, my wife who didn't call me for the past seven {3}months,gave me a call to inform me that she was coming back.So Amazing!! So that was how she came back that same day, with lots of love and joy,and she apologized for her mistake, and for the pain she caused me and my children. Then from that day,our relationship was now stronger than how it were before,by the help of a spell caster. So, i will advice you out there to kindly visit this great man called Dr.Brave,if you are in any condition like this,or you have any problem related to "bringing your ex back. So thanks to the bravespellcaster@gmail.com for bringing back my wife, and brought great joy to my family once again. {bravespellcaster@gmail.com} Thanks...
